The firm was established in 1997 and is a member of the :

After a few years in the auction business in the provincial town of Louvain, Henri Godts becomes the assistant of antiquarian bookseller Louis Moorthamers in Brussels whom grandfather founded his bookshop in 1894 in Antwerp.
Henri Godts establishes the valuations for auctions, provides estimates in case of inheritance or partition, officiates at auctions and drafts the catalogue descriptions especially in Dutch.
Carine Deprez, historian specialised in Early Modern Period, editor-in-chief, works in the field of ancient books for 25 years. She describes old, 19th century and modern books, Japanese prints, modern graphics, autographs, etc.
Marie Palmucci, historian specialised in Ancient History, has joined the team since January 2012 and is in charge of old books, in particulary the 16th century editions and those in Italian and English.
Karen De Coene, researcher at the Geography Department of Ghent University (Flanders), provides punctually her knowledge in cartography and scientific instruments since 2014.
Bruno Liesen, historian of the book, part-time collaborator since 2016, deals with various archives, books and documents.
Jean-Philippe Sonck, court bailiff, supervises the auction conditions of sales.
